Murdoch's The Daily hits iPads today

Apple SOLD about 7.3 million iPads in the last quarter of 2010 AND its production could not keep up with demand. Operating system is what counts. iOS in iPod Touch (50% of iPod sales), iPad, and iPhone is more widely used than Android. Apple has a plant in China with a production capacity of 30 million iPads/yr, or 2.5 million/mo. Apple is finishing the building of a SECOND iPad plant in China with a capacity of 40 million units/yr, or 3.33 million/yr. BOTH plants will be in operation. There will be an entry level iPad AND a full-featured iPad.
